Bank Holiday Weekend - Recommended Poker Tournaments?
«

Hi all,
I'm interested in playing a poker tourney (upto max £300 buyin) next weekend - does anyone know of any larger buyin/prizepool tourneys going on across the UK? I'm pretty flexible on travelling etc, just can't seem to find much going on from online searches. I'm presuming it's due to being a week before most people's paydays, but would expect someone surely is using the bank holiday weekend to target people like myself who work Monday-Friday so can't play til silly am on the Sunday-early Monday morning. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Do you have to be a member of APAT, or is it open to all? That sounds ideal if so.

Open to all non-pros
Once you play a tournament you are an APAT member
Would recommend, for the Main event especially, buying in in advance via The DTD software

Completely straight answer, It is. Good crowd of people. Great range of events at affordable buy-ins, and obviously the best venue around.

What constitutes a 'Pro'?
Someone who plays full time as a primary source of income?

There's also the 25/25 on Saturday and Sunday plus loads of other side events running. Certainly a good alternative.

Recommend this most strongly. Would like to meet some more of the Blonde members at this event if possible.
