Hi all,

Looking at taking aroung $15k to Vegas shortly, and need advice as to the best way of doing this?

Do i take cash after changing it here? Or can i wire transfer it to the hotel?? (New york new york)

Also, when return with (hopefully!!) more money?? Whats the best way to change it back to stirling as i lost alot on poor selling price last time from travel agents.

Thanks

$15k is middle ground, probably just but cash from one of the wholesale places in London and declare it.

If regular / and or I'd say $25k plus, open a $$$$$ avvount with bank (FD free and no charges if you bank with them), buy from someone like UK Forex where first deal is free, they put it in your $$$$ account, which takes about three days then if you win casino just wire back to $$$$$ account and your in control to either hold there for next trip or play currency game and exhnage back using Forex to get best rates.

Unless you are a reg player or visitor tho its prob too much hassle so just do first option and google for best rates, there mostly London based and piss all over M&S etc for that amount.  Think I used Thomas place in Hammersmith a few times, but google and youll see option genrally 2/3c better than High Street

Make sure you declare it both when you leave and when you arrive in Vegas.

You have to fill a form in on the plane, if you have more than $10k declare it, and then when asked how much money you have tell them at immigration.

It's a simple and easy process mate, really nothing to worry about when you're taking $15k.
