btw plen, this is our equity v his getin range. Im fairly certain if hes decent he can muck TT a decent proportion of the time also. Dont see many Axdd combos hes coldcalling a 3ball with.

call, whats the turn.
Seems terrible?
im thinking about my range, maybe i shouldnt. I want to be able to call w A9 and protect my calls, playing AA as a 3bet shuts out a load of his "percieved" value hands (JT/AJ/AT) and could possibly stop Axdd or other semibluff combos from continuing. Saying something is terrible is pretty out there.
Yeh you're over complicating it. You're ange is missing all jt/aj/at combos

you really don't need to protect your calls in live poker by just flatting AA here.
I'd go £270 now. £249 is ok but please just make it £250. What's the point? It's just irritating!

I agree. It is SO SO SO annoying when the young'uns want to bet £81 or £232, or whatever. So cringeworthy, creates totally the wrong impression/vibe, and slows the game down. Please use common sense and realise how bad it looks... bet in increments of £5 or £10 ffs.

I have done. Repeatedly.
If he doesn't listen, and/or wants to make himself look silly... that's up to him lol!

dont get why live games don't use the 'red chip rule' or w/e so you have to bet in increments of 5 or w/e.

Using 49 instead of 50 is the same as 99 instead of 100. Its use is due to the sub-conscious telling us that its a lot cheaper than the other. 99p cone!
Can anyone actually comment on their turn decision or are we just going to get anal about other things!! lol

Great rule for a £1/£1 game.

Think id still call, fun hand. The raw equity matchups in getin i dont think make us much money. They (albeit very rare) bluff and overplayed 2 pair is where we print, i say we keep them in.

Hes never calling with AJ to a pile. 1k is a lot of dough. I mean if he is a huge whale feel free to pile and get in vs JT or KdJs but not vs anyone remotely sane.
Not everyone 1/2 game plays big enough for the £5 rule to be worthwhile. And your basically saying every shop in the western world is wrong.
Shoving turn as played. Really hate your flop size. Just calling is best option imo tho. Don't think he gets it in that wide, I think even TT might fold to a shove. If we want to 3bet make it enough to pile to turn. Or 299.
