In the early Day 1 flight last night.  Blinds just gone up to 300-600.  UTG tilted (obvious from chat box) after losing a massive hand, is sat with 4,300.  Hero 16k, in BB with  .  Already plan on calling/jamming if under the gun does shove, or over a button (über active) raise.

UTG  shoves.  All fold to the SB, who is a competent reg playing 11k, who shoves.  We?  Is this the perfect opportunity to get it in, or a trivial fold?

Call. He knows utg is wide and should have the 2nd widest range behind you. He can easily have most pairs Ax hands and broadways. If there are no antes and its your only bullet I can't hate a fold.

   equity    win    tie          pots won    pots tied
Hand 0:    26.527%     25.71%    00.82%       43008871570    1364917404.33   { 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T8o+, 98o }
Hand 1:    33.839%     32.99%    00.85%       55180651192    1423933449.33   { AdAh, KK-44, A2s+, KTs+, A6o+, KJo+ }
Hand 2:    39.634%     39.27%    00.37%       65685999278    611479234.33   { 8d8h }

Hand 0 is first shove and I gave him a 50% range
Hand 1 is 18.2% with some aces combo removed for the times he flats aa/kk etc
Hand 3 is us

We have 56% equity vs just hand 1s range (for the side pot). This is probably a touch generous for hand 1, but it doesnt seem a million miles off.

Interesting analysis. Appreciate your time, thanks. I dithered (only bullet I had planned), and did a fold. As it happens we would have been up against A5ss and AQ off.
