Playing a £100 deep stack hyper turbo ukipt on stars.  Starting stack 20k but blinds up every 3mins.

Blinds are 1750/3500 not sure of the ante but think its 500.

You are in the BB with 22500 total. Ave is about 55k and there are 20 left with 5 seats. It's folds to the SB who has around 44k after doubling last night and he shoves.

What are we calling with here??

personally i'm with all pairs, maybe half the combos of 22-44  22+ A2s+, K8s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, 98s, 87s, 76s, A5o+, K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o, 98o

like 25% of hands? i find waiting for hands in hyper turbos can fair well in the long run,

I'd rather shove 2bb with hopefully a top 10% hand because dead money is insane, and you're really far from a seat! than trying to spin 6bbs

but after all they are a gamble fest so maybe rofl in like 40% of hands considering SB is shipping any two

22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q4s+, J7s+, T7s+, 97s+, 87s, A2o+, K7o+, Q8o+, J8o+, T8o+

Far too loose for me.

Calling most pairs, most aces and maybe like K9+

55+ K9o+ K7s+ Ax+ QJ

or this: 66+,A2s+,K6s+,Q8s+,J8s+,T8s+,A7o+,K9o+,QTo+,JTo. 2nd is top 25%. Can't decide which i prefer.

If he's remotely got a clue his jamming range is at the 85-90% mark. If he perceives you as tight and not calling correctly he could probably jam ATC. Nash chart says that if you are calling correctly he can jam 85%.

Given that and some number crunching and you will take any edge because a double up gives you some chip utility then my calling range is:

(Assuming 7 handed and ante is 700 because ante is usually 20% in hypers)

When he jams you are getting 1.63 to 1 so you need 38% equity I think (I'm tired, my brain isn't working, is this right someone?).

Vs an 85% range (his minimum imo) you can call with a lot. J2o+ T2s+ 56s+ 57s+ etc. Those will show a marginal profit. You might have to take a punt with those hands because you're down to almost no fold equity and you are too far away from a seat to think about folding to victory.

Don't think I've ever done it. It just doesn't look profitable because you seem to remember the times you call and they show K7+ rather than 93s type hands. I think.
