There were 75 runners for the first of the TEN seat Guaranteed UKIPT Mega Sats last night, about 25% short of the guaranteed seat total
Very well done to Tom Somerville and Fred Wise who were amongst those winning seats for later in the week
Tonight, same again......

Can someone confirm what start day the winners of these packages will play, or will they be offered a choice?
Thanks

£250,000 GTD £60 GRAND PRIX 22ND - 29TH SEPT 2013

Hi Guys
I have asked iPoker to up the GTE on the £25 Satellites to 3 seats GTD every hour - this keeps the minimum at 4 runners so they have the same chance of running as before - these are active now
If you wish to play the IOM and get in really cheap then I highly recommend getting online ASAP and playing the £25 MEGA FEEDERS - they will be excellent value.
We have a £4,000 overlay last night and I can only predict the same for tonight based on the incredible £16,000 worth of packages GTD.
Good Luck Nicola

From pokerstars FAQ's:
I have won a PokerStars UKIPT prize package - can I bring a guest?
Yes, if your package includes Hotel. Your hotel room will be booked in your name by PokerStars for the specified dates.
And fwiw I said bed, not room!

Hi LB44,
PM me the name on the booking and will see if I can sort it.
The rooms are all booked as double occupancy but no necessarily Twin rooms.
Many thanks,
Jamie

On Day 1a, 113 players entered the £1,100 Main Event, but after eight levels it was Dara O'Kearney who was left as the chip leader going into Day 2 with 112,100 in chips.
The Irishman had a very slow start, dropping down to around 18,000 midway through the day before he flew up to the very top of the leader board in the last couple of levels.
Indeed, for most of the day it looked to be Niall Farrell who would dominate the counts, as the Scotsman was the first player to break six-figures, but he lost several large pots near the end of the evening to fall back a bit. Even so, Farrell wrapped up the day in ninth place overall with 73,600 in chips.
Day 1a Top 10 Chip Counts
Rank Player Chips
1 Dara O'Kearney 112,100
2 Jamie O'Connor 105,900
3 Chris Straghalis 102,300
4 Alexander Schilt 101,400
5 Caleb Sheridan 90,300
6 Robbie Bull 87,700
7 Karl-Fredrik Stromberg 81,600
8 Matthew McKenzie 76,300
9 Niall Farrell 73,600
10 Tim Michels 68,100
