very quick one.

villain is an accomplished cash game reg playing 1knl regularly. He is good, solid but has some moves.

It is the gps, he has 20k from the 25k starting, we cover. He will see myself as good and capable and the rest of the table as very bad with some huge spots (yeh yeh wte Tongue)

Anyway, its 100/200 and he goes to make it 650 UTG and then limps and we have   UTG+1.

We?

There is more to the story, heh.

pretty unusual situation.

Feels like a slam dunk ISO unless he's decided he wants to limp/raise which would be an unusual thing for him to decide to do, or if you have some hero read that you're getting ISO'd behind. Obviously if he does elect to limp/3bet then its always a call right?

I guess it's kinda sigh that the worry of the limp re-raise (a concern much more prevelant for weaker players) might stop some ohters entering the pot with some ropey dominated hands but I don't think people pay that much attention generally so I think the KT's and Q8's are still coming along when you make it 600-700.

If you did decide to limp, then that can't possibly be bad either, think i'd defo limp weaker suited connectors (67, 79 suited etc)

Does he play live much? Will he be aware of how the spots at the table play?  Have they been limping around so far or raising much?  From that specific mtt it feels like it's going to be multi limped more often than someone will raise so it's more likely he has some sort of hand that flops well and would rather limp than raise and be oop 4 or 5 way to the flop.

If this is the case then it's an easy ISO and you can maybe expect him to lp/raise some of that range specifically against you if you ISO

I think my standard is to raise here.  If the tables redic splashy then I doubt anyones 3 ballin with much worse (callers gon call).  We can still get a ton of calls from hands we have dominated and we can evaluate vs UTG.  If the table is really splashy I don't see why he would limp a monster instead of raise, he would expect to get some action anyway, rather than risk going to a flop 6 ways OOP to the entire universe.

If it folds back round and he goes redic huge then we can get away from it but dont hate playing KQs in position here.

Fair to say that we look strong if we make sure he knows we saw him think about raising and still give him the opportunity to limp/raise?
So his limp/raise, if it comes, looks v strong?
Limp along and flop  in hope he has

i think if he limp raises we should 99% fold though, thats why i decided to limp behind, although i think its a bad reason and just r-f is best for the times we put in more money vs the whales and have some initiative.

folding KQsuited a to limp-raise with 125big blinds?

Not in my lifetime, if calling the 3bet is bad then I'd rather be bad.
