This one came up in a pub game recently...

All hands are dealt preflop. Action takes place as normal and there are 2 players left to see the flop. Before this can take place, it is noticed that the dealer has started shuffling the deck. The dealer has not mixed in the folded cards.

Ruling was that play continues as normal. Assume this is correct as can't see why there would be another ruling?

As long as the folded cards aren't in there then I don't see a problem.

i'd point out you don't shuffle the deck mid hand but say it's fine this time and carry on...no harm done...the dealer perhaps was new to dealing...we all gotta learn.
