I think if they did this tourney 1A online Thurs,  1B live Friday 1C live Saturday and Day 2 Sunday in the same format then they would crush a £50k guarantee everytime. Start comp at 2, have super 50 running at 7 on Sat and Incred 100 at 5 on Sunday. Even have 1A online on weds just to make doubly sure.

My table seemed to really like the idea of the comp on the whole.

Remember a really important part of the idea is to give players Sunday off, whether that be for family, non-poker stuff or the Sundays.

As a 'rec' I prefer Saturday off, but I do understand that Sunday is a big day for the online superstars.

Will be giving this a go this week I hope.

Hugely prefer this format to sat-sun. I know I need time off work to get to dusk for day one on a Friday, but, if the comp were sat-sun, I almost certainly end up booking time off work for the Monday unnecessarily.

I like having Sundays off.

Whats average stack? Looks like buying in at 100k puts you in good shape. And how  will payout structure be calced, against the 100 buyin? i.e. Day 2 directs show a loss to a min cash

there are 307 entries so far at 20,000 starting so thats just over 6m in play and over 65 returning so average is 90,000+

The indicative payout structure is on http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/news/big-game/2377

The Min is set at £500.

So Just under 40 players at £500 are needed to hit the £50,000. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out. I will be updating later to see

Don't forget at LIVE at 5pm we have an incredible 100 GTD at £10,000!

If you have a £100 token in your account you can use it to play this event! There is a tank in the lobby for token registration.

So over the three day Ones there were 305 entries, covering around 60% of the Guarantee

67 players are through to the Day 2 at 2pm

This is where it gets interesting

Players can now by into Day 2 for £500, until 3.30pm and receive 100,00o chips

Blinds start at 500-1000 on Day 2, +1 re-entry is available for Day 2

Big Guarantee £50,000
Big First Prize £15,000
Big Min Payout £500

Deals will be allowed on the final table based on an ICM chip count

Hi Guys,

There are 5 £1000 seats GTD again tonight at 9pm. £100 buy in.

This can be broken down into 2 x Day 2 entries for The Big Game. So you can have 2 bullets this Saturday or play the next two big games.

Effectively a 1 Day comp with roughly a third of the field paid and £15,000 up top in you buy straight into Day 2.

The £15 MEGA feeders are running now as well so there is added value there.

nice new format, not too gimmicky so people not afraid to play first time round

the 'big min cash' is a nice touch too especially for those looking to buy in on day 2

interesting question and strategy - if you make day 2 with chips after playing day 1 but bust out can you then re-enter on day 2 for the 500? wonder if anyone did that...

looking forward to the next one

Hi,

You can do the above and I know that it was done over the weekend Smiley

I love all the added dynamics to what is effectively a simple tournament, especially on the bubble where £100 players are getting a very good return for a min cash.
