Hi Guys,

Blind on blind spot which i struggle with a fair bit, just wondering does this look ok to people?

0 hands on villain

BTW Turn bet is just putting him in basically stack sizes pretty awkward otherwise.
I think when people flop combo draws like this they tend to just shovel as much money in as possible without thinking (me included ha)

BTN: $15.70 (157 bb)
Hero (SB): $35.15 (351.5 bb)
BB: $10.64 (106.4 bb)
UTG: $12 (120 bb)
MP: $15.51 (155.1 bb)
CO: $5.36 (53.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, BB raises to $0.90, Hero raises to $2.40, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.80)    two spades  (2 players)
Hero bets $3.50, BB calls $3.50

Turn: ($11.80)  Two Clubs (2 players)
Hero bets $9.90

Dont really see how you can do this? OTF pot is like $5 and villain has ~$8 back, so even if we bet ~$1.75 the pot OTT will be $8.50 and villain will have ~$6.25 back. I'd probs go for $2ish and then set him in, seems fine to me. Assume you're going with AQs 100bb blind v blind as a standard? Don't play in these games, but obv standard to get it in in the games I play pre.

I will basically never try to get aq in ore flop in this spot at any sakes, at best it's going to be marginal, usually it's going to be bad and sometimes it's going to be terrible.

What more is that if we want to have a calling range oop in a hu pot bob where we will include lots of weaker hands that don't flop as well such as 9ts or 88 then it's important to have a hand such as aqs in our calling range too.

Not that balance particularly matters at nl10 but anyway I doubt people are really 3b5b ax blockers and the such when they can just peel close the action and see a flop.

SPR is such that bet flop/jam turn makes sense on any board that is remotely dynamic. A three street (small) betting strategy is really awkward with this SPR, and I'd reserve it for really dry boards like K44r or A93r.

I'd also just call the 3bet preflop as standard.

Agree with the other comments in the thread.. by 'bet smaller on the flop' I mean 2.50-3 so not much smaller
Then set him in on the turn.

Pleno is right that getting this in pre wont worm out well for you long term in these games.
