Recently i have noticed whenever i am playing a session, regardless of how long. i always seem to do better towards the end.

For example, i played 3-4 hours of 180's yesterday built stacks/bubbled etc. but when i decided i was on my final few i ended up winning the last one of the session.

Is this just me who seems to do this? is there something pyscological behind it eg. saver

I would be interested to hear others thoughts on this....

*this is not a disguised brag post btw lol

I've been thinking about this recently myself. I think one factor is you have less tables toward the end of your session so you are probably more focused and playing your A game

It could be that, but i generally play 3-4 tables most of the time at the mo as im just getting into playing a bit more used to do 6 easy.

I think it could be a case of concentrating on the one table and thinking this is my last game so put the extra effort maybe??

I would love to start a session on a high so i can just continue to crush  Wink

I would say its less of a psychological thing and more of a technicality.  You're more likely to win the last table you have open cause its the only one you haven't busted yet......

You're going to open them all at around the same time so logically the last one left will be your deepest run.

I think there is a lot to be said for the mental equivalent for 'warming up.'  I remember Honeybadger posting in PHA about purposely being aware and attempting to avoid strange or marginal spots early in a cash session.  I think the same could be applied here.  By the time you are well into your session your mind is more active, SNG spots are rarely wildly varied so you have short term experience to go alongside blowing the cobwebs out of your long term experience of the spots and much like Tomsom has said, the last one is the one you're still in.

I dont mean it like that, basically whenever i decide to call it a day and i have my last 4 open then i seem more likely to bink. Maybe im just a bit backwards...
