Sample size of one and all that, but Villain 2 got the call, so he will be happy with his play...

Not sure I can fold kings in V1's spot unless I see your moustache twitching with anticipation.

I'd expect to see Villain have JJ, QQ and AK most of the time here, but not surprised to see AA/KK here. Some people just like to take the pot down, don't want to be outdrawn, don't want to make a smalll 4bet and get peeled and have a scary flop. Axx if they have KK or play a QJ9 flop oop etc, they just make a big shove and hope to win it there, or get called and at least they can tell their mates they got it in good.

99 call seems way too thin here Rich. I think QQ+ is good, folding AK too, but not happy about it.

A few people have said people don't jam 50 bigs here with aces or kings.

This is live poker. In Luton. It's not uncommon for people to 3/4x pre then jam flop for 50 bigs. Therefore, 4b jamming 50 bigs is usually nuts or close to it.

Could even make an argument for folding QQ.

I def know what your saying, and Alex in that people don't want to see flops or get outdrawn, but there are still plenty who make it obvious they have a premium hand.
I played 1/2 at the Vic today and a guy min raised from the BB over 5 limpers! GL with AA in that scenario sat with 250 bigs

99 seems a bit ambitious rich!

I think the point you make about attacking the later levels is a good one, but your application of it is a bit lacking. You already have 70-80bb for the last level which is plenty for you to try and apply the pressure and by taking this bad thin spot you are actually needlessly risking your ability to do so.

QFT and Millidonk.

Thanks for all the replies and in hindsight it does seem pretty thin bad in this field on a day1 and I suppose his play maybe got what he wanted which was me levelling myself with that part of my range he was just unlucky I run good in dem flips!!
