As long as you're not folding too often it's not going to make too much of a difference what you do vs a random.

He's 3x'd it so I am going to give him credit for having a slightly stronger hand than a normal LJ open and that he's more likely to be fishy (obv). Jamming might make him fold out most of the weaker hands which is bad because we would have to assume his range isn't super loose. That being said just peeling keeps you ahead of his range and the fact that you aren't too deep means you don't have to fold too often post flop. As rf said, take it to the streets.

I don't think 3betting will show you a loss at all, but prob not the nut approach.

Do we think jamming is terrible? Think that is what I'd do. Difficult to play post here imo and jamming well fold him off a lot of flips, whereas he might peel QJs etc to a 3bet. Also see ppl call with really random shit sometimes which is fine.

Jamming can't be optimal. It's a disaster when he folds 77/88. 3bet and call, or flat.
