He has to call the sb and bb so that would need to strengthen his range a bit. Seems fine to fold this.
If there were 10 left and he wasn't any good and opening quite a bit then I'd deffo stick it in his eye if these were the stacks.

He definitely doesn't have to call. He has 12 big blinds left after his raise. He isn't just going to put it in with the weaker hands he has raised. Admittedly he shouldn't have too many with the blinds being so short.
I like the fold. Plenty of good spots to put pressure on people.

If you want to look at it a bit deeper you need to know if he's any good. You might have a good feel for that after 44 hands because you've been playing short handed for most of that (most likely).
According to Nash he can pile 20%. Taken into account that he has a lot less FE because of the SB means he probably can't jam the worst parts of his range, so up it to 15%. Ignore ICM for now and you're left with still quite a few hands. With 15% of your range you can't raise call a lot of those hands like K9s, all the small pairs and some fairly strong hands depending on who jams on him. If his perceived range is wide here then that means he's raise folding a TON. Good players understand this which is why good players won't usually open UTG here too often. Given that this is the hot 4, he probably doesn't understand that and is most definitely folding a lot. It's certainly going to show you a profit jamming but it is slightly awkward. You are going to be wrong sometimes and also unlucky too!
Given a second thought I think this is a jam but only because it's the hot 4. I wouldn't do this in the hot 75 because the opener is just going to show up with really good hands too often. Even if they'd been opening a lot up until now, I'd imagine that they are less likely to be stealing opening into the given stacks.

Thoughts on 142k / call vs everyone but Player 6?

Yeah I probably do that anyway, it's the same effect as jamming and I doubt anyone's jamming any extra hands if you make it 140k. The downside to this is the OR might peel. I'd rather we don't see a flop.

I like Tomsoms line here obv if the 1.4m guy goes over we can fold anyone else we should be willing to flip i guess fold worked out though had a few big hands and won some flips after....
