A round with the Devil and his fish

27    1    Chris Sieder
27    2    Dave Ulliott
27    3    Benjamin Jenkins
27    4    Andrew Hulme
27    5    Vaidas Siriunas
27    6    Timothy Chung

75-150

Hand 1 button Chung

Chung 400 otb

Sieder call small blind

The Devilfish, suited and booted, knuckleduster on the felt in front of him rather than on his fingers, cocks his head to one side and raises to 1500

Both fold

Hand 2 button Sieder

Stato raises to 350

Chung calls

Devilfish reaches for chips again and makes it 2000 in the small blind

Stato, his 1970s porn moustache bristling, contemplates and makes it 4700

Devilfish mutters "I don't know you kid" and folds, showing A-Jo

Hand 3 button Devilfish

Chung 450

All fold

Hand 4 button Jenkins

Jenkins 400 on the button with Vaidas absent in the big blind

Stato calls

  three diamonds

Stato check calls 500

check check

check check

Stato "I have Ace Queen" and shows  . It's good, Jenkins mucks

Hand 5 button Stato

Devilfish raises to 500

Stato calls on the button

check check

 two spades

Devilfish 500, call

Anyone for another spade?

  on the river

Devilfish 1000

Stato folds

hand 6 button Sirunas

Devilfish opens to 500

Sirunas calls on the button and fixes him with the most glowering stare I have seen at a poker table

Devilfish doesn't notice though, he's looking down

Devilfish 500, Sirunas folds

Devilfish still hasn't looked up and reaches out for his chips as they are pushed towards him

With thanks to dino1980

3.15pm: High Roller update
The eight remaining players in the £2,200 UKIPT4 Nottingham 6-max High Roller are all in the money, they're not all at the final table though. With the loss of one more player the remaining seven players will combine at one table and play to a winner. The final table bubble has been going on for around 75 minutes now according to the tournament supervisor.

It's a field that wouldn't look out of place at an EPT containing as it does: Jon Spinks, Chris Brammer, Craig McCorkell, Dermot Blain and Team PokerStars Online's Mickey Petersen. This is how they stack up at the moment, blinds are currently 1,000/2,000 ante 300.

Table 1:
Jonathan Spinks - 205,000
Craig Mccorkell - 40,000
Mickey Petersen - 200,000
Giuliano Bendinelli - 38,000

Table 2:
Thomas Middleton - 120,000
Dermot Blain - 100,000
Alex Lindop - 55,000
Christopher Brammer - 180,000

marc Foggin from Newcaslte, who finalled a Monte Carlo here a few years ago, has always struck me as a dangerous player and he ahs chipped up nicely today

He raises to 450 on the button

Lorenc Boci 3 bets him from the big blind and Marc calls

Boci continuation bets and Foggin calls

Boci check calls a Foggin bet

Boci checks again

Foggin fires out 9,000 into a 12,000 pot

Boci gives it a lot of thought, calls and mucks when shown

Foggin has nearly 60,000 and must be chipleader

Jim Moult raises UTG

Alan Gold calls in the small blind

David Barraclough calls in the big blind

The flop comes A-J-6 with two spades

The blinds check to Moult who c-bets 1800

Gold calls and Barraclough makes it 4100

Moult folds

Gold now ships it, comfortably covering Barraclough who is holding A-J

Barraclough calls all in only to be met by 6-6 for bottom set

David "Doobs" Barraclough is out.
