I don't read the TV thread when I want to fade spoilers but since others don't I've made this thread.

So Dexter went off to live in a cabin, WTF was that all about.

Oooh I like this!

Ok, I'll post the ending and the winner gets to post the next one.

Diane comes back to the bar to see Sam, they reunite, but then decide it's not for the best. Sam goes back to the bar, Woody gets a job in politics and takes Norm with him, Cliff gets a promotion and Rebecca elopes.

Yep. Ruined the show.

I was late to the Sapranos and I didn't watch the last series until after Gandolfini had passed, and I have to say it worked (ish).  Don't get me wrong it was not perfect but as I knew there could be no more I think I felt less "letdown" by the end then those that watched it at the time of airing.

I thought the ending was fine, it wasn't like Scarface, but it closed things off nicely.

Actually no.....I think the bit at the end of the penultimate episode fo the Wire when Snoop asks Chris how her hair looks and he says "it looks just fine girl" before shooting her and then Dukie goes with the Rag and Bone man and you see history is repeating itself is the most perfect sequence in TV history....but the last few minutes of the Sopranos is close.

Whether you liked the ending or not it was surely far to good a program to suggest it ruined the whole show, it was just so good.
