Things have probably moved on I feel

The forum is very different than when the bashes were at their height

In addition the UK Poker calendar is extremely crowded, rarely a free weekend without a major event. This was not the case when we were doing a bash or two a year

I disagree Rich.

The TFT mini bash proved a great success I think.

While we wouldn't expect blonde to help, nothing to stop is organising a forum wide get together.

i want another bash organised by blonde or not i loved them
the poker was secondary the getting to know the members
was main priority and the forum mood around that time was always great

people get to know other posters and tend to get less offended as they now 'get' what the person is trying to say.

Any sort of Bash would be good, blonde organized or not

Met with Rich TK and Rob today and we discussed this.

Yes there will be a BlondeBash announced shortly.

Since we don't have a APAT in the calendar this year which I know many Blondepoker members attended - we will look to something of a mini Blondepoker festival weekend. I thought Blackbelt poker did an excellent job of this at DTD with bounties and lots of 'community spirit'.

Lets us get Sky UKPC successfully over the line and we will arrange something at DTD.

Cheers ACES

For clarity, UKPC ends February 23rd, & all energies are on that at present, but we hope to firm up details soon after that. *

* "soon" as in "are we nearly there yet Dad?".

We are grateful for the encouragement & support for a blonde Bash as demonstrated in our meeting yesterday with Rob Yong & Simon Plumper.
