It seems that there are going to be a few changes in the way the ranking points are going to be allocated this year

if it is the policy of casinos not to announce the results of any deals done how are the correct ranking points to be allocated

looking at www.pokerineurope.com   the recent results from luton are in and as far as im aware 5 of the tournys finished as a result of deals being made

if this is the way things are going to be done from now on then far enough but i fear inconsistancy throughout the calander from casino to casino

also i heard here on blonde at self deal tournys would no longer be ranking events but the 100 at luton and brighton have both been given ranking status

ok rant over   i know this might not seem to be the most important point   in the world but  considering the importance of lord wernicks success last year  surely something should happen

Speaking of rankings,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

http://www.pokerineurope.com/europeanrankings/index.php?year=2006&PHPSESSID=187f76a769e404f3af5f9e07d23d01af

Have a look who is 10th in Europe for Omaha  Cheesy

Maybe I should play more omaha events and try and stay there?!?

my point exactly paul why should you be 375 points behind sonny

you finished 7th and he did a deal with 3 left

he should have 375 points and when you get another result in the omaha  you will move above him

I hear ya Dave

Thats why I said in a post about "deal or not to deal" I mentioned that if a deal is done  ALL points should be void - will put a stop to some dealing anyway

If ANY deal is done at a Ranking Event Final Table, it is the responsibility of the players to inform pokerineurope.

If you see points awarded that you know to be wrong, write to Jon Shoreman at pokerieurope. He will correct them.

That's the way to do it Paul. Eveyone else, take note.

If you think the points are wrong, or a deal has gone unreported, tell pokerineurope. It's that simple.

Can anyone confirm Cardiff have dealers for the Welsh Shield thingy?

It doesn't appear to be a ranking event, which will sour my victory somewhat. Wink

It won't be ranking - it has to be a festival of 3 or more tourneys or a mega event.   hmmm wonder if this rule is now 3 or more dealer supplied tourneys.
