Just looking for some advice on playing with 18-25 bigs in a MTT.

It seems to be quite an awkward stack for me to play, probably because I play so much deep stack cash games (200bb plus)

Wondering if anyone had any link to any article or anything like that, or would be able to give some pointers.

These are a couple of hands from the same MTT a couple of weeks ago. I played AK different in both hands, the second one I am "trapping", now i'm looking at it, I don't really like it at all, just calling. This should have beena  3 bet right? Small 3 bet?

Hi Ship,

This is really hard to read with the way you had displayed this HH. Could you re-format it please?

Both hands mate I have AK OTB,

Had 1, I have 9.7k blinds 200/400

Hand 2, I have 20kish blinds are 300/600

In both hands the chip leader has made it 3x pre.

Hand 1 looks perfect spot to 3b jam over a limp and an iso

Hand 2 3b/call to induce over his iso'ing range. Make it like 3.9k IMO (if you are 33bb deep as you state)

In and around 20bb's is the optimal spot for a rejam and with a hand as strong as you have
in both cases seems pretty clear cut to just get in in and be really happy.

You mention playing deepstack cash and im sure if you somehow ended up with 20bbs for some reason the decision to jam would in my opinion be just as trivial. Good luck.

Check out SNGwiz quality piece of software.
