in reply to wardonkey i dont think u need 50 buy ins in stt,s if u can go 50 stt,s without wqinning then u need to give up, no amount of varience needs u to have 50 buy ins. 20 buy ins is more than enough to keep u affloat playing stts. just my opinion

It's not that you can go 50 without winning, it's that you can go well into the teens without a draw (17 is my record). If you have a bankroll of 20 buyins and lose half of it in a poor run then you are very close to going skint. What are you going to do then? If you are playing STTs for your primary source of income and have less than 50 buyins available then you'd better make sure you have a good CV ready.

the lower my Roi gets the more x buy in i will use. Think this is safe. This thread has also given me kiss of death 3 results from 15 today and roi dropping rapidly.

you say 3 out of 15. thats only 20%. 1 in 5 maybe the game you are in is to high or maybe it could just be a bad patch. if i was only cashing once in 5 id look at what was happening. Only you will know if its a bad patch or the game is to high for u. Just sit back and see think about it, theres no shame in dropping down a level to build up your bankroll. I personally move up a level when im in a bad patch.

no it was just a bad patch,(recovered it a bit this evening), had one of those days for wicked out draws lot of runner runners and gut shots when down to 4-5 players.Had to compose myself and not change the way i've been playing
As as wardonkey pointed out i was running a high ROI this has now settled down to 35.4% still a good ROI i know. When i cash i do tend to hit majority of 1st's. I am moving up a level after a win but not to a level that will double buy in as i think this will stall my climb.

I know roi will tail off once i get to top levels, but i aim to be Bashing heads with Donkey again soon.

Best of luck. I could use a challenger on the OTG STT board!

You sure?
