It's absolutely amazing that there have already been two 0-0 draws in the ice-hockey.

It's often the case that there are two 0-0's or less in the entire NHL season and they are usually considered to be the highest quality games normally occurring during the play-offs if at all.

Has the game changed since I used to follow it closely several decades ago?

All the x-games type events have been superb recent additions to the olympics, some of the snowboarding racing events have been great to watch this time.
