I got this message when trying to sign up

CloseError message We were unable to locate your information in our database, please check your entries and supply as much information as possible:
We were unable to match your date of birth.
We were unable to match your first name.
We were unable to match your surname.
If your information looks correct please try again.

Soviet... did you manage to sort this issue? There is currently no-one on the helpdesk - although we will be 24-7 soon - but you can either use the live chat facility tomorrow (popup at bottom of the page), or you can get in touch with me via PM and I will take charge of getting it sorted.

Bit concerning that there seems to be a bug in the registration process. We thought this process had been perfected prior to launch. This is a big learning curve from my point of view, never having done anything like this before - I did not imagine how difficult it would be to get a website to launch, and had no idea that there are always going to be issues immediately after a launch.

Didn't like the home page to be fair, and first impressions are very important.  Why launch a website that requires fixes, or is not complete?

That's exactly what I would have thought before I got into this. It turns out it is ridiculously difficult to actually get a website ready for launch, and there are always going to be things that need fixing after launch. At some point you have to decide it is good enough to put out there, knowing that some (mostly unexpected) issues will be crop up after launch - and you then fix them ASAP.

on the upside, I like the idea, and now you have shown me some screenshots, I will certainly take another look and am likely to give it a go.

Great! Hope you enjoy the games once you have registered.

Firstly good luck with the site

What is the difference between this and the site Nevison launched (bodougi or something similar?) I am pretty sure there are a couple of others out there that are also in the same vein but none of them seem to have caught on?

From that point of view there seems to be a gap in the market to try and be the big player in this field. Personally i struggle to see how big this market can get on a consistent basis but i am sure you will give it a good go.

Bodugi is pretty much restricted to racing and the dogs. We offer loads of different sports, and loads of different types of pools.

Yeah, my hope is of course that we fill a gap in the market and become the big player... in the same way as Betfair did all those years ago. And hopefully this is a market that can become big - I believe that once people try it they will love the concept and enjoy it more than traditional forms of betting.

BTW, there are Superbowl pools up at the moment with guaranteed prizepools, and there is likely to be a big overlay on each pool. So there is good value to be snapped up right now!

Still not sorted, tried a few times & get the same message each time. I'm on iPad if that makes a difference?

Go on Keith!!! Smiley

I am currently joint top of the leaderboard in the weekend special pool. It is now down to what happens in the Superbowl. I need there to be as close to 64 points scored as possible, and the longest TD to be close to 49 yds. £300 on the line! Hope we both win our respective pools.

Ooooo just found a cool feature.

If you click on a players name in the active pool leader-board, you can see their selections so you know what to funk against!

Glad you guys like this feature. It is an essential part of the live sweat experience.

For example Glen, using this feature you can work out that you are in even better shape to win this pool than you might think. There are two main guys who have a chance of overtaking you. But one of them (Mick C) has an identical answer to you for one of the two remaining questions - which I think means he cannot possibly overtake you. Good luck!
