The inclusion of the present City team is ridiculous in any greatest teams ever assessment, let's wait til they win something please! The measure of how good they are will come in a couple weeks against Barca.

For balance, I think they've got potential to win the lot and knock out Barca, their goal difference is ahead of anything we've had in the Premier League era, and they could well go on to win 1-2 European cups over the next 4-5 given the perfect age profile of their squad.

I shall be reserving judgement on them til they have sufficient trophies to merit places alongside the other great teams mentioned... A great team gets shit done at the business end of the season, so time will tell eh

Nothing beats the Brazil team of 1970?

Maybe not even the best Brazil team - if it wasn't for the 2nd round group stage in the 1982 World Cup (Italy, Brazil & Argentina) these boys would get more of the recognition they deserve.

Spanish team of the last 5/6 years won 3 straight major international competitions. I think they get put down as their style is somewhat boring, turning passing into a form of defence. Depth wise they are very strong think of some of the player not making the 1st team.

I detest him with a passion, but Mourinho must hold a very strong claim to the best manager of all time.

Porto - Champions League
Chelscum - 2 PL titles
Inter - Champions League
Madrid - Beat the best club side of the last 30 years to win La Liga

Pretty bloody impressive CV.

Guardiols's Barca the best I've ever seen.

I'd add Lippi and Ancelotti to best ever manager candidates.
