Hi,

I'm a UCL psychology student, conducting an online survey on how people make decisions about which football team to bet on - for instance, what information is used to make these decisions. I'm looking for anyone who has bet on a premier league football match which has not yet been played (i.e. if you've bet on a match which will be played later today or in the next few weeks). Hopefully the results of this study could be used for learning new betting algorithms to improve betting techniques and 'beat the bookies'. If I find anything interesting I'll be more than happy to post the results on here once I've collected all the data.

I only have a couple of weeks to collect and analyse a lot of data, so would be very grateful for any feedback!

Thanks,
Sam

Hey all, there was a thought last week that this was a spam/virus post.

Can confirm its genuine, and would be grateful if you could help out.

Thanks.

Questions are ambiguous if you bet on the draw, BTTS, first scorer etc. rather than just who wins.

Sorry, I should have stipulated this at the beginning - please only answer the questionnaire if you have bet on a team to WIN, not draw or any other bet!

Thanks Smiley

If anyone has place a WIN bet on today's Premier League matches, please could you fill in the questionnaire! If you are so kind as to fill it in, please could you do so BEFORE the match starts, otherwise I can't use your data in the analysis. Thanks!
