No real sample to speak of on this guy, 44/20 3b 11% off 9 hands.

Bet flop for protection from KJ/QT type hands, occasionally getting value from 8x and just makes the hand a bit easier to play imo. Turn i bet to fold out KK-TT hands, then when he calls again i eventually decide to put him to the test and move all in. When he tanked though i decided i wasn't sure how much i liked the play based on the board texture.

Thoughts?

pretty good unbalanced bluff at 25nl villains hand can never improve from the flop and hey you may even get AQ to fold even a tiny% of the time!
i'd also like to say its suicide to do this at over 200nl. villains 3b range will probs be like 55+ KTs+ A9s+ ATo+ and hardly any of that which continues after the turn will have no showdown value. so tricky to decide if he ever has enough Ax that will fold

I'd prefer to have 99 in my check back range and to bluff with something like QJ. We don't want to be betting with our whole range when checked to, especially on this board texture. We still have equity v an 8 which they have 3b light with. QJ also blocks AQ & AJ which are likely holdings enabling us to fire on every street. AT- may fold to 3 bullets and AK would probably bet the flop.

Bet sizing looks real odd. Small bet, small bet, over bet shove. I would def check back the flop. I mean if he is on the range you put him on you are probably going to have to go 3 streets to get him to fold. I would rather treat a hand like 99 the same way I would 33 and just set mine 200bb deep. His flop check does suggest he has a value hand that is not happy about the ace but i wouldn't want to risk 200bb to try and get him to fold.
