I don't know much about football but it seems like the honourable thing for him to do would be to resign. No doubt he has had some bad luck but he doesn't seem to have any idea how to turn things around. If they sack him they have to pay off his 6 year contract?
Yes, he looked a broken man in that interview. Was chatting to a mate last night during game...he's a Liverpool fan, me a Newcastle fan - can take anything. I've delighted a little in their downfall, it's human nature as much as seeing the fans distraught after years of success, it's banter and they would do exactly the same. I've laughed at the pictures and a lot at some of the satire, Evil Kagawa is genius at times on twitter - and I laughed at the banner yesterday.
After the game - well I feel sorry for him. He's not a bad man, a human being - and we chatted about nobody having to face this unique type of post ferguson era with a backdrop of social media that hasn't been seen. I think he's out of his depth - however actually wouldn't begrudge him turning it around after one season when we can all laugh at Man U - alas I don't think he's up to it.
If he was some cockey, arrogant, nasty man - guess it's different. He seems pretty decent tho compared to the likes of our manager (fighting, anger management, gambler). Actually wish him well next few games and will here them on.
