"Good UKIPT Nottingham news -

We have agreed to double the UKIPT High Roller GTE to £300,000 after a good meeting at Nandos with the lovely PokerStars UKIPT crew today - here is the final UKIPT Schedule for Nottingham attached with this post.

We will be doing some High Roller sats online and live.

As at today we have 225 players qualified for the £1Million £1K main event which matches the last UKIPT £1M with 6 weeks to go.

I hope to announce Genting live sats next week for those of you that prefer Live to Online. Cheers Rob"

Does the 1 in 5 UKIPT semi final seat HAVE to be used on Monday 31st March, or can it be used for forthcoming 1 in 5 Finals?

Hi Vikrum, sorry for the delay while I got an answer for you

Yes it has to be used on the Monday following qualification

Does anyone know if you can sell seats that were won on Pokerstars?

Nope, 1st one has to be played and then you get T$ for any others.  If you cant play the original they will sometimes switch it to another leg if you have a really good reason but dont think you can transfer it to anyone else.

Won my seat on Stars tonight, so am excited about that as I always like to play at DTD. Deciding what to do about the trip. One option would be flying into East Midlands on Friday morning and one bullet it, meaning I would probably get to DTD towards the end of the first level of play.

Q1: Bearing in mind I have already won my seat on Stars, if I show up in level two will I have a seat reserved for me with chips ready to go into play? Or will I reserve a seat myself when I get to the club, therefore prob be an alternate as 1c will be megabusy?
(possibly this is answered somewhere already)

Q2: Anyone recommend a minicab company to go from East Midlands Airport to DTD? Roughly how much is this likely to be?

Cheers

from DTD

"I believe Stars enter their players when they arrive. He will need to speak to them regarding their rules as we won't have any record of their seats, they deal with their players 100%."

"There will be plenty of taxi companies to use at the airport however if you wish to ring one we'd recommend a Nottingham firm 01159 700700. It will be roughly £20 - £30 however they will be able to advise over the phone".

"If he is wanting a hotel tell him to contact MET info@maineventtravel.com and they will look after him"

Hi Bergeroo,

If you qualify/buy-in on PokerStars then you will have a seat reserved but not allocated for you when you arrive.

You will need to collect your ticket from the PokerStars welcome desk by the entrance and you will then be entered into the seat draw at the DTD Cash desk. You will receive a full stack should you arrive within the late registration period (6 levels).

I've used the quoted taxi number several times in the past and they have always been reliable and reasonably priced.

Cheers,

Jamie
