Who here thinks the 15 minute blinds in these £50 or £100 satellites ought to be shortened down to 8-12 minute??? Having worked it out, these satellites are near enough equivalent to a 40 minute live game if the £500 deepstack live/online time difference is anything to go by...

I reckon 12 minutes would be good for a re-entry/freezeout satellite and 8-10 minutes for a rebuy/add on satellite. What does everyone else think.

Tonight, a £500 deepstack took a little over 4 hours with just 32 players and 5 spots GTD.

Huge fan of the current structure, and the addon/reentry element. Maybe shortening the clock a touch would help, or a slightly earlier starting time, but I'm sure DTD know best/have tried things and listened to feedback.

Like everything at DTD, we will do what players want because that results in more runners and less overlays. In terms of the current structure/clocks - this has recieved more + ve feedback that any of our previous online sat structures in the last 7 years.

We will monitor of course but it's hard to change in the immediate future with such positive feedback for the 15 min clock (37.5 min live equivalent).

Cheers ACES

+1. Personally, I prefer the shorter clock. 15 minutes seems to be way too long ( may be because of me getting used to the older version of the satellites where the time between blinds were 5-8 minutes).
But if everyone else thinks the new structure is very good, then have to live with that. Also, if possible, can there be freezeout satellites as well along with the add on ones that are running now? I am sure both of them will run as there are many players who dont have much bankroll to use 2/3 bullets per satellites?

I've always been one for voting with my feet and the reason I don't play these is mainly because of the 15 minute clock.

The feeder sats are brilliant. Nice and quick and a chance to flick in a few quid to pass an hour or so with the chance of binking a £110 token. The thought of that then changing to a 15 minute grind fest really puts me off. I'm not complaining by the way I prefer to just not play.

If they drop to 10 or 12 then I'll be far more likely to have a go at the satellite program but I understand it's really difficult and you're never going to please everyone.

Agree with reduction in level times but would like to see timebank/decision time reduced accordingly so the effect of timebanking is not as magnified.

14 minutes 37 second clock would be ideal, but I'll live with 15.
