Villain is solid russian reg with $400K+ winnings. Been relatively quiet so far.

Is this call okay? If not what's your calling range look like?

Thanks,
Ash

Villian shoving range with this many BBs is probably: all pairs except JJ+ (most likely 3bet induce) All decent Broadway's QJs+ maybe K10s+ and A10s+ except AQs+ (3bet induce). Some villians may just shove AQs+ sometimes. Against this range of hands I would say AQ+ and probably 99+ should be our calling range. Obviously I've seen the results but that hasn't changed what I was going to write

I don't understand, if he is not shoving JJ+ AQ+ but is shoving KTs, QJs etc, why do we want to fold?

K10s and QJs was the very bottom of his range, I mean he might not shove these but he has a lot of A10+ combos and like I said he might just shove AQ+ instead of 3bet inducing. Against his entire range not just when he might have QJ. KQ isn't doing too great, check on stove

Definitely fold. You don't open hilariously wide and he's going to be peeling most of the hands you dominate because they play really well post flop given the stacks.

No reason why he can't be nutted here, 3betting to induce barely induces more hands anyway and on a Sunday when everyone has a load of tables here they might just look down at AK or QQ and be like "whatevs allin".

Normally make my opens slightly larger than 2x here with Antes. And for me its a pretty clear fold to his Jam.
Knowing that he is a solid winning reg would increase the likelihood that he has a solid hand with this Jam.
Next hand.

Pokerstove is done and dusted. Doesn't work any more.
