Bit early in the TV show with the Brienne/Jaime question? Also with Ramsay Snow stuff?

The Hound is a bit too nice?

I think the Shae plot is an improvement on the books.

Why no Tower of Joy flashbacks to date? Not as significant as most bookworms believe? Surely this has to be covered at some stage to cover Lyanna?

Well, the Tower of Joy is simply a theory and I wonder of Martin was prepared to tell HBO about any story spoilers before he has finished his story. I am sure it's something that they will work into the plot. It's just going to look different.

Howland Reed was mentioned, so that at least means there's a vague connection if tenuous, to go back to that story arc.

I haven't actually watched yet. I do wish Martin would finish though. I've been addicted for the best part of my
life to these books.

was done in the dvd extras i think.

really impressed with how they are adapting the books, season 2 seemed a bit off/wrong to me but 1,3 and 4 so far are fantastic.

GRRM seems to be giving away the latest book chapter by chapter for free. i doubt he'll ever finish the series, i think he's torn between wanting to go down in history as one of the greatest writers and fucking it all off and doing coke and groupies instead. tbh if it gets finished properly on TV that'll be fine for me.

The full plot has been communicated to HBO.

Martin has also confirmed we will meet Howland Reed. Fair to say the tower of joy plays some importance.

Where was that confirmed? Do share. I have always wanted Howland Reed to come into the story.

In Martin quotes.

In some theories you've already met him and he's currently the most powerful man in Westeros....

Jaime raping Cersei not great IMO. Her seducing him on the alter so he'll kill Tyrion is the final act before Jaime realises how evil she is. Weird seeing it from a view that makes him darker and shifts pity to her?
