I'm in the sb with pocket kings,    . I have £60 on the table it's 20nl, villian has £20.

It's folded round to him on the button. He 3 xes to 60p,  i make it £1.80 bb folds, Button calls.

The flop;

Pot is £3.80, i bet £2. Villian raises to £5 total, so another £3 to call.

I jam. I really don't like this now looking back at it.

I think my thinking was  flawed, i'm happy if he folds, and if he calls atleast i have decent equity. I think this is the wrong way to look at it.

The opponent is a good regular, one of the best players at this level.

I think calling the raise is the best option, or check calling. Or check check, betting the turn.

Actually don't mind how you play this hand. You leave the last decision with him and in the process give yourself some
fold equity. How would you say the villain perceives you? This is an important question and something that will undoubtedly
help you improve if you keep track of how you are viewed.

I would be interested to hear what you think he could have preflop in his range and on the flop.

I am viewed as being loose and aggressive.

Villian is loose and aggressive.

Preflop his range is massive.

"You leave the last decision with him and in the process give yourself some
fold equity"

Yeah but that's a mistake in my opinion. When i jam all i do is fold out his bluffs, when called i'm drawing to a club.

I like a check, call line on the flop, to let him bluff the flop which he's going to do most times. Would expect him to bet here 80% of the time if i check to him.

As played, best line was just to call. Check back the turn, and see what vallian does.

In fairness, he has only called to try and take it away on a later street.

I know three clubs doesn't look good.

I could likewise be 3 betting a really wide range, i don't need to be strong in the slightest here so he will peel wide, to try and win it later on.

Also at this time he was playing a bit spewy.

All this is why i don't like how i played this hand. I should have checked to let him bluff the flop, which if checked to i would say he is betting 90% plus of the time.

He's floated with junk. At the end of the day he should have folded pre flop, but called with a plan. So fair play.

Calling to take it away on a later street is not a plan I'm afraid.

Prolly a bad open from him, I'd imagine calling the 3b is bad too.
