i could get shirty about Aruba being a country....given that it is technically part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands... I'm afraid you couldn't. It is one of the countries within the Kingdom of The Netherlands. It's in exactly the same situation as England or Scotland, both of which have recently been accepted as correct answers for countries in this quiz. If Aruba isn't a country, then neither is England or Scotland.

question 11 - name an answer someone else used during the quiz.
Surprisingly few correct answers here.
Hole in ones (1)
Chris biggins - hutch John Major - rubbish j10 - tikay n lamont - mulhuzz stuart pearce - kmac nigel lawson - minttrav 8 - baldock
wrong answers (6)
bjorn borg - longines a darling - dwh103 kq - tomsom (incredibly unlucky imo for no one to mention qk!) david beckham - leethefish/david3103 argentina - ant andre agassi - redsgirl southend - redsimon USA - jono Roger Federer - esokral/tighty

The question asked for countries, not states. England and Scotland most definitely do not start and end with vowels, so can confirm they wouldn't be accepted for this question I'm only trying to create some faux-farce in a farceless quiz though, don't take me too seriously :p
