Maybe next year we can do a draft format where we can't have the same players, because we pretty much have the same team as each other.
That said, a single result could swing it this way, which is fun.
Nice to see ElkY giving those of us who dumped him from our team a bit of a sweat.

I'm always game for introducing new ideas.
I lack the flair and imagination to come up with anything fresh myself but if someone else cab do the "creative" bit then I'm happy.
I'm not sure how many poker players could reasonably be included in a draft, though. We'd need quite a few if there were a significant number of managers.
I think removing Vanessa Selbst from the available selections would increase the variety in the teams for a start!

Actually you might be onto the better idea. Removing say the most popular ten players really opens things up and is no more work for you.
Either way, really appreciate this as always, thanks very much

You're very welcome.
I'll make sure that your ideas are brought to the attention of the "organising committee".

Or you could just leave it open for the entrants to choose anyone they like, which is what we have done in the APAT version. It doesn't really cause extra work and might lead to more entrants - I didn't enter cos a number of the people I wanted to choose weren't on the lists.

There are two wildcard selections for people to "express themselves".
My personal feeling is that it might lead to less entries as people who don't follow poker avidly would feel overwhelmed at having to select a "good" team without assistance.
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't feel able to enter, though.
