Seems like a huge overreaction from stars.

This 100% doesn't happen if he's Dutch though because then it can't possibly look like he's just a troll.

likely thing thats happened is a couple of the spanish players will have talked about a boycott if dale was still a sponsored player
so much easier to let dale go than to have a few players start a boycott which could lead to a number of players leaving
remember the pros are there to build and get players playing not having some leave or boycott

Think it's justified personally. If I was watching the Italy game in Italy in an Italian pub with a bunch of Italians I would not over celebrate the Sturridge goal esp if I was representing my company abroad

he is hardly a 'sponsored pro' is he?  He gets given £3500 in buy ins and £1200 to cover exs.  By the sounds of it he is doing in close to the £3500 he gets in free buy ins in exs over the £250 given to stay for a week.  What's the point of being 'sponsored' in this manner apart from the ego of wearing a stars pro's badge?  Sounds like he has had a lucky escape from an awful 'sponsorship' deal for him.

He would be better off staying at home playing online without having to conform to the corporate 'bollocks' that goes along with being a face of a company for such poor financial reward.

Considering the amount of applications they get for team online you can be certain it's better then they above.

I've heard 100% rb for Team Online plus other benefits, deals for actual Stars pros are huge. I'd be pretty happy playing 5 UKIPTS a year, paid for, for 100% rb.

I don't know how he can expect the Spanish to understand that wasn't an offensive gesture.  It certainly looks like one.  It just seems a really stupid thing to do whilst representing your quasi employer.  I don't think it makes any difference how the Stars' customers behaved afterwards.

If I was filmed by my employer doing something like this, I'd just hold my hands up and say fair cop and learn from it.
