To be honest, if someone is capable of writing legible posts, but can't be bothered, then I don't see why I should be bothered to read them.

Their lack of effort is making me put more effort into translating the message. Therefore, I just skip it. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I consider this to be their choice though as free posters on the forum. If we don't want to read it, we don't have to.

So without knowing someone prior to them becoming a member of blonde - how would you tell the difference between someone who has good command of the english language and just can't be bother to spell correctly, use correct punctuation etc. etc. with someone who doesnt have good command of the English language and writes their posts badly not through choice but because they dont know any other way?

As i said in my first post that was deleted earlier i know someone who openly admits to not posting on the site as much as he would like because he isnt as good with words and doesnt want to appear "thick" compared to other posters on the site because his command of the english language isnt as good as the majority.

I wasn't trying to cause trouble with my earlier posts and am not trying to start up any kind of flame wars but if i ever said anything that was offensive to anyone then i would prefer if the post remained where it was and then people could see why i was apologizing and hopefully it would deter other people from making the same mistakes i had. I understand that the moderators have a difficult job to do keeping an eye on thousands and thousands of posts every day, i know it must be a very time consuming job and one that has very little reward which is why i dont envy their task however deleting all the posts and sweeping them under carpet as though they had never happened is not in my opinion the way forward.

I understand that it is the correct method in some cases - it threads that are blatent spam or if threats are made or the posts have deteriated into a full blown flame war but this forum is by far the best i have ever had the fortune to be a member of and whilst the viewing public will allow me i will continue to post here - i want it to continue running the same way that made it what it is today......
