I was debating whether or not to post this, because if I'm perfectly honest, it's a little embarrassing on my part. A while back (I think two or two and half years ago) I asked on this board for live cash staking. At the time I struck a deal where myself and whoever wanted action would be % in % out on a nightly basis, and would settle either at the month's end or when we hit a milestone, which I think ended up being £1k. Anyway, the big problem I faced at the time was that I had a horrible attitude towards poker and the people I played with. It makes me cringe to look back and think how I responded to this game.
So now I can handle the swings emotionally, and my attitude toward the game is definitely more that of a professional's, I'm facing a more obvious hindrance. I've encountered a handful of financial situations lately, and I will obviously give full details for anybody who is serious about striking up some sort of deal.
My all-in EV suggests I can beat this game, although at the moment I'm simply not winning actual money - in before thinly veiled bad beat moan, I'm not bemoaning bad luck, I know it happens, I know it's a thing, and I know it needs to continue to be a thing for the longevity of poker, however there's no point trying to deny how frequently I'm on the wrong side of coolers and how many times I take a bad beat in the big pots. I know when I'm on the right side of these hands, and when I start fading 2 outs in the 4 figure pots, I'll start making chunks for myself and whoever is interested.
My regular games are £1/2 and £2/4 at Dusk Till Dawn over the weekend, and £1/2 in Sheffield or Birmingham during the week. I play £1/1 around Nottingham, but it's very likely I'll continue to play these games on my own dime althoguth I'm very flexible with any sort of deal, be it long term or short term.
There are many people on this forum who can vouch for my honesty and I think the most likely deal to strike is one similar to the deal that I mentioned abov where we are cash in cash out every session, so my risk:reward is the same as yours.
Mods if there's anything I've missed from this post please let me know, and PMs are of course welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
