GUKPT Blackpool hand

I'll just post the hand details, interested in what people would do differently do me on any street.
Villain is pretty straightforward ABC player, although he ran one very strange bluff earlier, which had no prospect of being successful.
Playing 200-400/50
I have approx 25k, villain has me covered, but not by much. Maybe 30k.
I open in MP with two red aces to 1000
He defends the bb.
Flop QJ2, with two clubs.
He checks, I bet 1500, he pretty quickly calls.
Turn is the 5 of clubs.
He checks again.
I bet 3200. He tanks, checks his cards, tanks some more and calls.
River 9 of clubs.
He checks, I check back.
He has two black sixes and wins with a flush.

I was pretty strongly considering shoving the river, bad move?
I weighted his hand to a higher club than a 6, but not the ace or king.
Lets give him the ten, do you think most players call off their stacks with that?

We can't shove he river on blank, it would be a big forever right? His turn range seems to be monsters that are hollywooding and hands that are having great difficulty calling, tournament life etc into consideration I think we should go 1/3rd pot for value.

Thatd be pretty spewy bet vs this field imo, he doesn't fold any club he's called turn with, doesn't have a large enough Hollywood range that a flush beats to warrant trying to get a fold out of

The all in bet of course works a lot of the time, but when it doesn't it really really sucks when there's a pretty reasonable chance we can showdown and be good

I assume pleno misread hand given that he called the river a blank and suggested a 1/3 pot bet for value. Then again it's pleno and you never know what crazy line he'll come up with next

pleno is saying what he'd do on a blank river James
As played seems really standard, one of the worst rivers for our hand and little fold equity against an uncapped range

Think I would play it the same. Unless you have seen him making big ridic folds, which you haven't, then I think turning down the option of shoving the river is the correct one.

No, he wanted to jam this river as a bluff I think.

In this field, yes, very probably.
