Hattie Carroll is another fine song, I am a big fan of Christy Moore's version.  Interesting this thread popped up today as earlier I was listening to Woody Guthrie who was a big influence on Dylan, Woody was an influence to many political singers/songwriters and activists.  For a large part of the afternoon I ended up listening to many political songs sung by Guthrie, Jara, Moore, Dylan, Rovics, Banda Bassoti, Los Fastidios, The Wakes, Blaggers ITA.

Good thread by the way.

Saw this strange movie a few years ago, with several actors playing versions of Dylan. I had no idea what was going on, but I'm sure it was very good.

Love this.  On the soundtrack to the Watchmen movie I believe and one of my favourite songs ever.
