Follows a couple of French high stakes players at the WSOP.  Really enjoyed it and think you guys will too.

This was linked in one of the diaries a couple of days ago. Absolutely brilliant, well worth a watch.

I find it great how they can find just kicking around cardboard in the street just as amusing as any avg non balla, brought a smile to my face there. They haven't been brainwashed to crave such a materialistic lifestyle like most with their wealth who would turn their noses up at such a thing.
Also how much Gus is made out to be such a fish donk made me laugh.

Thanks for posting this Ryan, the best documentary I've seen about poker. Well except for the hilarious ones with Trumper, Mad Marty etc of course!

Big respect for those guys.

They play Rock Paper Scissors for the seat in the film.  They don't live in the same place, when they are together in the film one is visiting the other.  I guess one sitting on his own cursing the screen doesn't make such great tv.

They did seem to say "we" a lot, as if they shared bankrolls or at least had very large pieces in each others action.

"We had $500k, when we got to $1m we played x, we we took shots at y limit" etc

Yeh, just assumed they shared a roll, particularly when taking shots.  But one also took delight in saying the other had nearly gone busto too, so maybe a bit of it is just language issues.

Don't suppose they are going to be up to much given it is all in the open on film now.  Going to be hard to collude from here anyway.

Did love the film, cheers Ryan

No sarcasm right? I thought she came off pretty well. Lots of motivation to get ahead of that curve Smiley
