Phew!

I thought for a minute you'd pinched a tank and stashed it in your bathroom.

It worries me that you can identify the similarity with my bathroom Tom.

Spent a while reading through some of this. Have you read it?

Yes I have Geo. I've read reams of stuff on the Holocaust, mostly first-hand accounts written by survivors. Mrs Red thinks I'm goulish, but believe it or not, some of it is incredibly uplifting and empowering in a "If they can cope with that, I can cope with this" kind of way.

We regularly have a chinook flying over but it's really difficult to get a decent shot. Think this has been my best attempt so far Smiley

Staying in the worst room I've paid 70 quid for ever in Venice, crap room, rude unhelpful staff. The only saving grace is the view from the balcony

Venice is too good a place to have it ruined by a shit hotel. If ur staying long enough for it to be worthwhile, it's worth checking rates on some of the nicer places - some can do very good offers, and most are a short walk.

The Rialto saved the day for me & Mrs Suited
