Nice enjoy the rest of your trip, I'm on my way home now. Stuck in turkey at the moment as Istanbul airport was snowed in this morning and most planes were diverted elsewhere in the country for a likely overnight stay. A quick google tells me we are pretty close to the Syrian border and Aleppo is not far over the border  |

On way to airport now, been through 2 fairly full on security check points, checking all passports, thorough searches on, inside and under bus with mirrors etc, that's a first for me.

Always regretted not doing at least once mooch around SEA when I was more mobile, and this thread is certainly not making me feel any better about never doing so  Looks like you're having an ace time, and loving the pics from you both. |

It is fantastic Tom. Wish I had travelled here years ago. Mind you probably too expensive with 3 kids. Thought of you and your Dad often over here when I see men repairing their bikes and tuk tuks by the road side to get them back on the road to make a living. The Khmer Rouge stuff is chilling. I have had Auschwitz on my bucket list for some time now and know it will be a difficult visit but like the Killing Fields it has to be done. |
