I grew up in a pretty decent Era of snooker. Hendry was the dominant force but we had Higgins and Williams who were both superb and were both definitely the best in the world at a certain times. And of course we had a certain mr O'sullivan, who for me, is the most talented sportsman iv ever seen. Absolute magician.

I watch the snooker now whenever it is on, and I watch it because of Ronnie. As soon as he retires, I won't be watching snooker.

Robertson and Ding and several others are as good as those two.  Ronnie is twice as good as hendo.  The standard isn't any worse.  I think the standard now is better.  But the bbc do such a bad job of hyping it.

Neil Robertson was superb in his 1/4 final. But Ronnie is still around 1/2 to win tommorow in a first to 6 match. Would he have been 1/2 against Higgins, Williams or Hendry over such a short format. I dont think so.

Ronnie at his peak would have destroyed hendry at his peak.  Please don't even compare the two.  As for the others lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.   Hendry is only the 'greatest' ever because ronnie spent half of his life high on coke.    Ronnie has spent years getting over his issues.  2014/5 ronnie would have been 1/2 to beat hendry at his best over 11 frames.  As for the rest do me a favour.

Fair point. Ronnie at the age of 39 is a better player than he was 14 years ago.

Will Ronnie match/beat Hendry's record of world championships?
