Waze is by far the best. Real time traffic updates too.

I've just tried this without data turned on and it still works great ...just don't get real time updates
Does it work if you turn your data off before you open the app and enter your destination Lee? like you would if you had no data access?

You've been so helpful Lee, I'm reluctant to tell you that it doesn't work without a data connection.
Mine does mate I've tried it twice switched data off then planned a route and followed it perfectly !
Try planning a route to somewhere outside your local area, say Swansea.
