If I lived 100 miles from Celtic, (Which thankfully I do) and I drove halfway there, stopped for a nano second, then drove half of the rest of the way, then stopped for another nano second, then drove half of the rest of the way...  You get the picture.

Does this mean that I would be constantly driving towards Celtic, but never actually get there?

You would get there, as it happens, as Celtic is constantly expanding, & therefore getting ever nearer.

It's an infinite geometric series that converges absolutely towards 100 miles.

After a few hours, you'll hit him with the front of the car and, even though you'll never reach the exact position he was in, you'll be comfortably within retaliation distance for him to express his dissatisfaction.

Also, by the time you get just in front of him, you'll be so close, you Will barely be able to generate any speed in the car, so as to be able to stop a few feet on for the required nanosecond wait. This means you won't do Celtic any damage, a gesture which he might well appreciate, although he'll then likely get in the car and expect you've come to take him to the nearest Portuguese chicken restaurant.

Nandosecond (n) - the length of time it takes Celtic to decide if it's time to have dinner.

Driving like that isn't the most economical way to drive. Then again, driving towards celtic isn't the most financially sound plan of action either, as you'll be paying for dinner.
