Can seats won on sat can be used for future events at the club if player not able to attend the event that the seat won for? Thanks

Same as the UKPC, this is only permitted if the event makes the guarantee

As this won't be known until the last day one, its highly recommended to play rather than lose the seat

Players were apparently told that unused seats won at dtd could be converted into tournament credits. Is that right?

Alexander Harriman Leads Overall as Last Chance Main Event Flight Approaches

Nottingham, UK - 16 April, 2015

Day 1c of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour’s Nottingham Main Event saw the total number of entries into this £1,000 + £100 tournament more than double. Players from all over the world have come to Dusk Till Dawn to try their luck – and potential four days’ worth of starting flights – in order to secure a portion of the £1,000,000 guaranteed prizepool on offer here.

The player who navigated the choppy waters of Day 1c most successfully was Alexander Harriman, bagging up 205,900 chips after 10 levels of play. He joins (actually, surpasses) Day 1b’s chip leader Max Ladbrooke and 1a’s Sunil Pancholi at the top of the counts.

Also bypassing tomorrow’s Day 1d and heading straight to Saturday’s Day 2 comfortably stacked will be John Keown (155,800), David Urban (147,700) and Demetrios Nikolaidis (144,000), plus Irish trio Brendan Olidi, Chris Dowling and Rory Brown, all on around 135,000 apiece.

Click here for combined survivors from all starting flights. http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/en/blog/ukipt5-nottingham-end-of-day-1a-chip-cou.shtml

Head to the PokerStars Blog to review today's action and rejoin it tomorrow at noon for live Day 1c coverage.

Remi Wyrzykiewicz Tops Final Start Day at UKIPT Nottingham Nottingham, UK - 17 April, 2015 The final starting flight in the £1,000,000 guaranteed UK

Nottingham, UK - 17 April, 2015

The final starting flight in the £1,000,000 guaranteed UK & Ireland Poker Tour Nottingham Main Event has flown, leaving behind 208 survivors, led by Remi Wyrzykiewicz with 189,600 chips.

A day that filled the Dusk Till Dawn poker room to the rafters brought 557 more entries into this mammoth £1,100 UKIPT Main Event, and the total number to 1,026, from 41 countries. The £1 million prizepool will be awarded to the top 151 finishers, with first place worth £182,000.

The final shot at Day 2 stack-building also worked well for Seun Oluwole (176,800), returning to the UKIPT after a season’s work-related hiatus, as well as Jamie O’Connor (173,200) and Hui Jin (169,000).

After a less successful Day 1d, Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree, Max Silver, Dara O’Kearney, Willie Tann and Rick Trigg (among many others) will have to find their Saturday’s tournament action in Day 1b of the £300 + 330 Nottingham Cup. This second of three start days for the Nottingham Cup begins tomorrow at 5pm; Click here for the full UKIPT Nottingham side event schedule.

Rejoin the action tomorrow at noon on the PokerStars Blog as live coverage of the Main Event continues

David Clarkson Leads Last 37 in UKIPT Nottingham Main Event

Nottingham, UK - 18 April, 2015

We’re deep into the money positions in the £1,000,000 guaranteed UKIPT Nottingham Main Event, with 37 remaining after a dramatic Day 2 saw reversals of fortune galore for some of the biggest – and smallest – stacks at its outset. All Day 2 survivors have now locked up at least £3,760 in prize money, but tomorrow is when the cash payouts ramp up.

Leading the pack overnight is David Clarkson with 1,715,000 chips. There are eight players returning with seven-figure stacks, among them Richard Jones, last year’s Irish Open winner Patrick Clarke, Marc Hunter, and Ben Vinson.

Amongst those exiting before the money were the overall start-of-day chip leader Alexander Harriman, Chris Dowling, Marcel Luske and Gary Clarke while the pure bubble spot fell to Chuck Khuu. With his elimination, the remaining 151 players were guaranteed at least £1,760 for their efforts.

Click here for the chip counts of all remaining players. http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/en/blog/ukipt5-nottingham-selected-day-2-chip-co.shtml

Click here for the Day 3 seat draw. http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/en/blog/ukipt-5-nottingham-start-of-day-3-seat-d.shtml

Leaving with a cash prize but no shot at Day 3 were PokerStars Marbella Festival champion Ludovic Geilich (78th for £2,280), runner-up in this week’s High Roller Matas Cimbolas (68th for £2,710), Neil Raine and Ben Winsor (busted in the same hand finishing 55th and 54th for £3,200), and UKIPT4 Edinburgh champion Dean Hutchison (47th).

Click here for the prizepool information and payouts thus far. http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/en/blog/ukipt5-nottingham-prize-pool-and-payouts.shtml

Join the PokerStars Blog from noon tomorrow when the Main Event will play down to a winner, who’ll capture the UKIPT Nottingham Season 5 title and £182,000.

There’s a trio of side events taking place while the Main Event plays to a conclusion tomorrow, starting with the final Day 1 for the £300 + £30 Nottingham Cup at 11am (a turbo, to fit in before Day 2 which kicks off at 2:30pm). There follows a £150 + £15 PLO Double Chance at 1pm, and a £100 + £10 Super Deepstack at 3pm. Visit ukipt.com for details.

Algernon Buchanan is a DTD reg I believe. Would probably be very good for the local poker economy if he were to win.

GLGLGL Eso.
