Saw this somewhere recently, might have been "The Metro". Which is a free newspaper given out on the busses and metro's up here. (Have no idea if its National or not)

And i think it was at Millwall but no idea which ground.

Not just national, international!

Well maybe not, because as I've just learned, it's owned by the Daily Mail. I should have guessed that given their online properties similarities.

Is this a football ground?  Looks more like a race course.

What year did it stop being a football ground?  Going to guess at the old Crystal Palace.  It looks very grand with the flags.  Must be a southern ground surely?  Plenty of posh looking hats in that picture.  Not all flat cap northerners.

Pure guess.....Charltons old Valley ground. I vaguely remember the massive open home terrace before the ground got closed in the 80's.  I can also spot a bobby on his own in the middle, so 1930's?

I was going to say Kennington Oval but that's not a football ground now.
Did it used to not be a football ground and now is a football ground? Coz it certainly doesn't look like a football ground! So the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham? But that's not south of Watford?

Walked past this iconic venue the other day.  I'd go as far as saying top 10 in the World though the daily mail disagrees.  If I post another view everybody over 30 would recognise it.

No googling needed.

Fantastic views over the city, still overgrown with weeds and neglected I assume.

Iconic photos from 92 though.
