Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life.
Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft?
Of course not.

£50 1 rebuy comp at Notts

Blinds 400 800, I have 20k

There are a couple of callers, I check in the bb holding

The flop comes

We all check

The turn is

Seat 6 bets out 3.5k

I check my cards while I try to figure out what to do, I also ask how many chips he has (He has me covered)

I don't put him on AQ, he would have raised pre flop, at this point I am only behind to Q9, and I hold one of the nines

But he could have two pair, trips, or a flush and a straight draw, all of which I am ahead of

I re-raise to 10k, I like this bet, I don't think he can call with the draw, and I still have enough chips to get away if I have to

He re re-raises All in

This is where the wheels come off, suddenly I'm sure he has two pair or a set and thinks that I am on a draw, I just knew I was ahead

I've really struggled to get in to good position in live games this year and I have been pushed off a couple of hands at crucial times

I call

He shows

For the bigger straight and the flush draw

I'm drawing dead

The river is the

It was a monumental balls up on my part, and I make no excuses
