As far as I know(from Skypoker forum and Tk himself on the show tonight), Ch861 is stopping and a 2hr show will be shown on Sky Sports 4 on a Tues, with more prerecorded stuff being shown like UKPC, interviews, Sky Cash game etc.

Yes. New pastures, seemingly.

Quite incredible Tikay reading that skypoker thread how many of your punters at sky literally just fell on the channel by accident and stuck with your poker site for years (i was another one of those in 2005 when i fell upon the old pokernightlive chanell which you and James Browning amongst others presented (pre skypoker tv existing) or whatever it was called having never played the game before).  Whatever i say about skybet (usually in jest) you have done a great job building that poker product via that channel and you should be really proud of it after 8 years as a figure head of the brand.  Alongside Rutter, Williams (for a short time), Channing, Carlo and Scotty the show was always an interesting watch for me although i was never a regular viewer and never ever played on the site itself.  GL to everyone involved in the future whether they stay with the firm or move on.

Watched it for the first time ever tonight.

It quickly became obvious how much people enjoyed it and they had genuine sadness at the end of the line.

Hope the new direction is similarly successful.

i am one of those that would likely have never played a real-money hand of poker had it not been for stumbling on 865.

always loved watching poker on late night programs, but had no real clue what online poker was, what it looked like or if it was safe to play on.

a few weeks of watching kendal and co and i had made my first deposits and caught the bug.

well done to all involved ovcer the years. cant imagine 5 hours of live tv is an easy task to mangage.
