No but I heard about the baby that died, had its face in the ashtray and 6 cigerettes on its tummy.. So much child cruelty nowadays, my career aim is to be one of those people that tries to help prevent this happening.

There are so many couples out there desperate for a child and can't.
To own a dog you are supposed to have a licence, yet any fool is allowed to have a child.
There is something seriously wrong with this.
It's about time the Law toughened up on ANY form of child abuse.
Locking them up isn't a punishment.

I will admit I cannot watch things like this on the news. When it comes to children I just can't understand how people do such things. Prison is not a detterent for these sort of people and there imo is a strong case for capital punishment for anybody involved with crimes against minors.

Totally agree with Ariston ...... moved houses last Dec ,sept just gone my ex next door neighbour is arrested for molesting a 5 year old girl . Seems he raped a woman in his 20s ( was in his 60s ) and tried to molest a young girl when he had gotten out of prison. Very scarey.........

Isn't there any good news in the world anymore? Everytime i watch the news it seems that the world has somehow sunk to a new low. Has the human race become such a melevolent species, that we cant find anything of significant, topical ,public importance, on which to report that does'nt involve acts of deplorable turpitude. Cant one of the major news broadcasters devote an entire show, just once, to news that is of a productive nature, just to remind us that not all human beings have the same nefarious propensity that induced a drug dealer to deal heroin to a primary school student!

Absolutely awful - thank goodness the baby survived. Couldn't believe it when I saw it in the paper this morning - the mother saying she wasn't responsible for leaving the baby in the lake - she'd left the baby with some homeless people because she couldn't afford to look after her. Unbelievable!
