Is there a brief bit of info or could someone explain the jist on how Hi/Lo omaha works anywhere?  I looked on the main Blonde's site but it only mentions normal omaha.

Thanks Smiley

Half the pot goes to the best high hand and half goes to the best qualifying low hand (5 cards lower than an eight). If no low is there the whole pot goes to the high hand. the nut low is the 2 lowest available cards from your hand used with 3 cards from the board eg 654 on board the nut low is A2, 237 off board the nut low would be A4. Remember in omaha you have to use exactly 2 cards from your hand to win the high or the low and it is possible to use the same 2 cards to win both (eg A2 clubs on an unpaired 3 club board with three low card on there/not containing A2). Simple rule for hilo- no pointy no play (if you dont have an ace with other wheel card/s dont bother)

The main thing is to look for hands that will scoop the whole pot, or at worst take 3/4.

The Ray Zee split pot book is a very good read.
